| The company |

The Initiative is a project based company directed by Isaac Knuteson. The company is a group of dancers from all around the United States. Isaac wanted to create a company where he could send dancers to perform/represent his work all around at multiple festivals/events/showcases. The company has performed at multiple festivals including: Trifecta Dance, Ballet Legato, Joel Hall Dance, Richmond Dance Festival, New Jersey Dance Festival & more.

Dancers learn the following choreography on video recording or Zoom. Isaac wanted to be able to work & connect with dancers all around & not limit himself to one specific location.

The Company is split up into two groups. The Main company, which are dancers who are over the age of 18, & training/dancing professional in the industry. Then the Apprentices, which are dancers under the age of 18, & still in training & some of Isaac current students.
